Pan In Harmony

This episode features Liam Teague. Originally from Trinidad he has been hailed as the “Paganini of the Steelpan”, Liam currently serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Co-Director of the Northern Illinois University Steelband, the same institution at which he earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music. Since 2004, Teague has served as arranger for the TCL Group Skiffle Bunch Steel Orchestra in Trinidad. Hear music from two of his CDs, including his 1993 hit CD “Hands Like Lightning” and in his latest group with Robert Chappell, Orlando Cotto, Doug Stone, Phil Beale and Joshua Ramos “Panoramic - Rhythm Through the Unobstructed View”.
